AIG Personal Guard - Personal Accident Insurance Plan
A lifestyle insurance product to address the various needs of today's discerning customer.
 
  • Identity Theft – To Recover Credit Worthiness/Lost Wages
    You will be covered up to RM30,000 for legal fees, other incidental costs and up to RM15,000.00 for loss of wages incurred by you to resolve the identity fraud.
  • Identity Theft – Fraudulent Charges
    You will be covered up to RM15,000.00 for any monetary loss suffered by you as a result of identity fraud.
  • Loss of Cash & Personal Valuables
    You will be covered up to RM3,000.00 for loss of cash and personal valuables due to theft or robbery (Reimbursement basis).
  • Medical Reimbursement
    You will be covered up to RM10,000.00 for medical expenses incurred as a result of injury due to snatch theft or robbery.
  • Accidental Death & Disablement (AD&D)
    A lump sum of up to RM100,000.00 is payable for AD&D. Double indemnity on AD&D will be payable in the event death and disablement caused by snatch or robbery.
  • ATM Withdrawal Protection
    You will be covered up to RM5,000.00 against the loss of cash withdrawn or forced to withdraw from your account via the use of ATM and occurring within 15 minutes of the withdrawal by means of force by an unknown person.
  • Home Protection
    You will be covered up to RM25,000.00 for loss of or damages to household goods & personal effects (excluding cash) as a result of burglary.
  • Key Replacement
    You will be covered up to RM2,000.00 for the cost of replacing your residence and vehicle keys which are lost or stolen, if your residence or vehicle is broken into, if you are locked out/in of your residence or vehicle due to loss or theft of your keys and a reasonable cost of a rental car for one day if your vehicle keys are lost or stolen and it will take more than 24 hours to replace them.
  • Disaster Cash
    You will be covered up to RM9,000.00 if :
    • Your home becomes uninhabitable for more than 48 hours due to natural disaster or fire; or
    • You suffer fatal injury or permanent total/partial disablement due to impact from any falling object or following a natural disaster to your private residence.

    Claims Procedures
    • Notify ACPG / AIG personnel  immediately after the incident. Claim Form (Discharge Medical Form) and/or Medical Report Form (Certificate of medical Attendance) will be forwarded within 3 working days.
    • For prompt claim processing, please ensure that following general documents are submitted.

    • Fully Completed Claim Form - Section I
    • Medical Report - Section II (The completion of this Section II may be waived for Accident Medical Reimbursement claims not exceeding RM300.00 and provided all the bills or receipts have the doctor's diagnosis.

      · Detailed post mortem report/ autopsy report or medical report if post mortem report/
      autopsy report is not available

      · Police report and findings on the alleged accident
      · Driver’s licence (if deceased was driving at the time of accident)
      · Incident report issued by company (if industrial or work related)
      · Nominee’s Identity Card (if nominee is stated in the policy) or Claimant’s Identity Card
      and Proof of relationship (if no nominee is stated in the policy)
      · Letter of Administration/Dstribution Order (if no nominee is stated in the policy or if
      nominee is below the age of 18 years)
    • Permanent Disablement
      · Fully completed Personal Accident, Hospitalization and Surgical and Critical Illness Claim Notification Form
      · Police report and findings on the alleged accident
      · Medical Report form completed by treating doctor
      · All available medical reports or any other document to substantiate the claim
      · Medical Specialist Report confirming the Permanent Disablement and percentage of
      disability for assessment done at the end of the specified period in the respective policy
      · Incident report issued by company (if industrial or work related)
